The 1406 Optical presents an understated alternative to our classic chunky framework. It's handcrafted from a single sheet of acetate milled with winged lugs and Fender tips. Cutler and Gross signatures—Oyster and Compass Star pins—add subtle detail.

The 9521 exemplifies the tenets of good design: simplicity and sophistication. Based on our archived 0521, this undersized square frame with 'Japanese-style' high lugs and our signature oyster pins offers a slightly more pared-back option which can be worn comfortably all day.

The 9288 brings a contemporary perspective to 60s cat-eye glasses. Sculptural curved frontals and Fender-shaped tips add dimension to the frame, which is signed with a Gold-foil logo on the inner temple. Polished Compass Star pins add signature detail.

Subtle Cutler and Gross signatures elevate the 1405 optical. It's handcrafted in Italy to a rounded, 80s-inspired shape detailed with Oyster and Compass Star pins. Art Deco core wire threads through the temples, culminating in Fender tips.

The 1396 invokes the spirit of David Hockney, the seminal postmodernist painter and renowned round-glass enthusiast. This style is reminiscent of the artist’s favourite Cutler and Gross frame, the now archived 0736. This frame's eccentricity is translated throughout its design, from the compass eight-point star pins to its perfectly round lenses and striking acetate colourways.

An archive of Cutler and Gross frames from the 70s laid the foundations for the 1394 optical. It is handcrafted from acetate to a distinguished profile with squared lenses and a double bridge. Polished Compass Star pins detail the temples.

Bold lines define the 0822 aviator glasses, which are handcrafted in Italy with a sleek flat bridge and Paddle temple tips. Our signature round pins add a glint of shine to the frontals.

The 1389 builds on layers of detail to capture your attention. This new bold acetate optical has recessed milling to create an inset bridge for unparalleled comfort, while the unique sculpted angles add another layer of sophistication. The new 8-star deco rivets are the latest reincarnation of a pin design that has been part of our brand DNA since 1988. They were first applied as raised stars for Mr Cutler’s original frames 0229/0230/0231/0232.

The 9101 celebrates the 40th Anniversary of one of Tony Gross’ favourite frames – the 0101. The original 0101 was named after ‘Room 101’ in George Orwell’s Big Brother, where one’s greatest fears would be kept. Tony wore the archived 0101 frame in Crystal throughout the '80s during his frequent trips to New York and London’s elite clubs. It became his signature look, alternating between the sun and optical versions.

A Cutler and Gross signature, the 1386 optical presents an amplified take on American acetate shapes from the 50s. The chunky 9mm frame is gilded with vintage pins and lightened with interior and exterior milling. 

Our specialised weight reduction process which involves reverse milling of 9mm acetate, enables the 1305 to be both chunky and maintain lightness for comfort. The result is a double finishing process where the acetate is milled from behind, tumbled and cut twice to maintain its defined, angular edges.

By amplifying the design details of the 1389, adding chiselled angles to attain a masculine outline and increasing the eye size to 53mm, the 9768 is born. The new 8 star deco rivets are the latest reincarnation of a pin design that has been part of our brand DNA since 1988. As with the 1389, the 9768 also shares the recessed milling to create an inset bridge for unparalleled comfort, which is expected from any Cutler and Gross frame.

The 1399 is for the eternal minimalist, those not too concerned with trend-driven silhouettes or overly flamboyant design. This clean and considered optical focuses on form and function with pared-back design features and glossy semi-opaque fine acetates to get its point across. The devil is always in the detail when it comes to minimalism.

Referencing one of the stars of the golden age of Hollywood, Rock Hudson, the 9289 oozes late 50s charm and sophistication. Designed and crafted with high brow lines and sharp sculptural edges, this large rectangle optical frame nods to a bygone era whilst maintaining a distinctly current edge.

Form meets function in the 1346, an oversized acetate square oozing character and boldness. While striking in its design, this frame has also been crafted with the utmost comfort in mind; 10mm nose pads and newly designed temples make the 1346 a long-wearing and practical frame.
